Social Change and Multiculturality

WISR PhD alumnus, John Borst, has recently published a timely 65 slide presentation, titled Economic Justice: Reversing runaway inequality.”  It can be accessed at  http://yestoeconomicjustice.net   Underlined hot links in the presentation are included. John may travel from his home in Southern California to make a presentation on this topic in the not too distant future.

WISR PhD alumnus, David Yamada, has written a law review article, “Intellectual Activism and the Practice of Public Interest Law,” which explores linkages between scholarship and social action in the context of legal activism, drawing heavily upon his experiences as a lawyer and law professor. The piece gives a lengthy shout-out to WISR for helping to shape his ideas about intellectual activism and includes an annotated bibliography of (mostly non-legal) books relevant to scholarship and social action that may be useful to those in WISR degree programs. You may freely download a copy from the link above.
